{dc_count}-site Sydney inventory, ranked by published capacity.
Click a row to fly the map there. Click any marker for the operator's own published figure. Lime markers are Western-Sydney sites; petrol elsewhere. Marker area scales to disclosed MW. Switch the hex underlay to read the same neighbourhood through a different lens.
Coverage note: this is every Sydney-basin data centre we could identify and source from public records (NSW Planning, operator pages, AEMO, industry filings). If you're aware of a site that's missing, drop us an email and we'll get it added.
Big clusters in the west
Kemps Creek, Eastern Creek, Huntingwood, Erskine Park, Horsley Park. Macquarie Park sits separately to the north as the basin's sixth major cluster.
Kemps Creek total capacity
Six sites at Kemps Creek total roughly 2 GW: 400 MW operating today plus 1.57 GW announced or under construction. At that draw, one cluster would consume the equivalent of around 4.5 million Sydney homes.
Heat-map accuracy
Pulse Horizon's apparent-T grid runs within 2.5°C mean absolute error against the BoM station network. See /about#methodology for how we calibrate.
Cumberland vulnerability uplift
Cumberland's V2 sensitivity sits 78% above the basin mean (0.558 vs 0.313), and the LGA shares boundaries with two of the biggest data-centre clusters in the western corridor.
